Bella Design & Marketing delivers inspiring new website for Sir Bobby Charlton’s charity, Find A Better Way
Cheshire-based creative agency, Bella Design & Marketing is delighted to announce the successful launch of its latest high-profile website development project.
The design and build of a new, content-rich website for Find A Better Way (FABW) is the culmination of a long-standing working relationship between the landmine reduction charity and Bella Design & Marketing.
The organisation, founded by Manchester United great Sir Bobby Charlton, relies on its website to showcase how it is improving lives in some of the world’s poorest countries through landmine reduction and to inspire financial support to allow its work to continue.
“Find A Better Way had evolved substantially since its first website was created and it was felt that it no longer reflected the nature and depth of the charity’s work,” said Account Director Tessa Blakemore, who managed the project.
The new state-of-the-art website, www.findabetterway.org.uk, is fully responsive for desktop, mobile and tablet and features an integrated third-party donation tool, providing a simple, user-friendly experience for donors who now have the choice of giving a one-off payment or monthly donation.
Rich imagery showcasing the charity’s three core sectors: research, education and humanitarian, feature prominently across the site to serve as a visual reminder of the importance of FABW’s work to visitors.
A series of bespoke infographics and iconography was developed to convey key messages in a visually exciting, impactful way.
Of the project, Lou McGrath OBE, Chief Executive Officer of Find A Better Way said: “I want to take this opportunity to thank the team at Bella for the design and build of what we believe to be a fantastic new website, one that is functional and responsive.
“It has been a real pleasure – the design is consistent, not only throughout the website but also the Find A Better Way printed materials, adding a professional edge to how the organisation is portrayed.”
He added: “You have a creative team there, who listen and deliver. Thank you, and we look forward to our continued work together.”
Find A Better Way was founded in 2011 by England and Manchester United legend Sir Bobby Charlton.
While visiting a minefield in Cambodia, Sir Bobby saw first-hand the humanitarian damage which landmines cause in war torn areas both past and present.
The visit moved him to set up Find A Better Way as he felt that, with modern technological advances, there had to be a more efficient way of negating the effects of mines and improving safety and security for local communities whose lives are blighted by them.
