‘Voice of UK agricultural industry’ more accessible after new website launch

Bella Design & Marketing’s association with the UK agricultural show industry continues to go from strength to strength.

Prior to the company’s appointment as PR and Marketing partner to the Royal Cheshire County Show, Bella Design & Marketing was commissioned to design and build a new, responsive website for the Association of Show and Agricultural Organisations (ASAO) which has now been delivered.

As the voice of the UK agricultural show industry, the ASAO website is a one-stop shop for its members who belong to agricultural show societies throughout Britain.

The ASAO wanted its website completely redesigned to be easy to navigate, contemporary and simple to use across all devices.

The look and feel of the site needed to be fresh and innovative as well as responsive to desktop, tablet and mobile devices to maximise the ASAO’s reach.

 

The responsive site has an in-built Content Management System to allow for easy, in-house content updating by ASAO staff and members.

Key functions of the ASAO are highlighted.

Crucial to the design was the incorporation of a password-protected ‘Members Only’ area where ASAO members can go to update their showcase page, read ASAO news and download documents.

There is a dedicated ‘Resources’ section where useful documents and information relating to topics such as updates to agricultural legislation can be uploaded and downloaded.

A new addition for members of the public is a ‘Show Search’ bar.

This new function allows the public to search for an agricultural show taking place anywhere in the UK which could prove useful for someone on holiday or planning a day out.

And cementing the sense of community that is so often associated with the countryside is a ‘Suppliers’ section.

This is where the many and varied suppliers to ASAO members – from security to fencing, communications and insurance to catering and marketing – can showcase their trusted services for mutual benefit.
