Time for a change
Dawson Media Direct (DMD) is the world’s leading distributor of newspapers, magazines and digital publications to airlines and international rail operators. Their website and marketing collateral had become outdated and failed to present the company as a cutting-edge media business, operating at the forefront of the global travel industry.
DMD required a new website which accurately reflected them as an international logistics company and leading force in the digital entertainment market. As the successful winners of a four-way creative pitch, we were delighted to take on the challenge.
Launched to coincide with the industry’s annual trade show, Apex, the resulting website effectively communicates with the company’s two distinct customer groups; airlines and publishers, and clearly presents the company’s two principle product streams; print media and digital media.
The central design device of the site is an interactive map, which provides an impressive overview of the company’s global reach, including overseas offices and airline and publisher partners around the world. A series of real-time clocks on the website home page reinforces the sense of the company’s international scope.
The site is rich in imagery and case studies, ensuring that key information is presented in a visually exciting way. Designed and built to be fully responsive, the website works effectively on mobile, tablet and desktop devices.
