Bella Design & Marketing celebrates success of the 2016 Royal Cheshire County Show campaign

As the Royal Cheshire County Show’s 2016 PR and Marketing Partner, Bella Design & Marketing is delighted with the overwhelming success of both the Show and our involvement with this prestigious event at Tabley Showground on June 21-22.

This was an exciting, nine-month campaign for a highly respected brand that’s a much-loved annual event for tens of thousands of visitors, traders, high-profile guests and entertainers throughout the UK.

“Just a brief note to express my absolute pleasure at your management of the show PR over the last two days, absolutely amazing and so very professional,” wrote Royal Cheshire County Show Executive Director Nigel Evans in an email to our office at the close of the event on June 22.

The two-day event attracts around 80,000 people annually to Tabley Showground along with heavy machinery, thousands of competing livestock, poultry, horses and dogs and more than 500 trade stands which requires extensive traffic management and security operations.

Bella Design & Marketing’s responsibilities throughout the campaign extended to all aspects of media buying across a wide range of print and digital media in both agricultural and consumer press and an in-depth PR campaign of the same theme.

Of course, our agency was also on site on June 21-22 where our expert staff operated a dedicated press area, arranged interviews for local and national media organisations including Channel 4 news and BBC television and radio, provided press packs and relevant information to media representatives and liaised with Show organisers.

Bella Design & Marketing’s PR and Social Media Manager Rebekah Holliday said: “It took a sustained effort over many months to ensure the Show campaign was as successful as it was.

“It was an incredible experience for our team to be a part of the action behind the scenes to ensure a large-scale event like the Royal Cheshire County Show operates smoothly from the perspective of each visitor, trade stand holder, competitor and media representative.

“It was a real team effort, encompassing our in-house design, marketing and PR expertise to ensure a fully integrated approach.”
