We’re proud to work with our client Smiths News’ preferred charity, Pass It On, on a range of marketing activity.
Pass It On all started as a chance encounter in London; In September 2017, founder Jonathan Bunting (CEO of Smiths News, Pass It On’s founding sponsor) was walking to his car when he met a homeless person who asked him for some help. He bought them a sandwich, a hot drink, and had a five-minute chat about how they came to be on the streets.
It was small gesture, and yet driving home, he reflected on the positive impact that it appeared to have. There must be more, he thought, that Smiths News could do to help the homeless and vulnerable in the UK. What if we simply donated warm clothes, bought some hot drinks and gave a little of our time in tangible support?
Within weeks, they had a team of enthusiastic volunteers and the rest is history!
Over the past 4 years Pass It On have directly helped over 5000 homeless people in the UK, collected over £30,000 in donations and delivered over 10,000 cups of coffee!
We’re currently gearing up to promote their latest winter campaign, which sees volunteers up and down the streets of UK cities, delivering care packages to those must vulnerable.
We will be sharing further details over the coming weeks but for now, read all about their incredible work here.
