Media distribution company, Martin Lavell, specialises in the delivery of newspapers and magazines to businesses and institutions throughout the UK. From banks to businesses, hotels to hospitals, Martin Lavell provides an early bird delivery of national and specialist titles in both print and digital format.
The company’s branding and website no longer reflected the fast, efficient service which the organisation prides itself on, nor did it do justice to the content-rich world of publishing in which it operates. A new brand and suite of marketing materials was required to re-position the business as a market leader in its field.
Bella Design & Marketing was delighted to take up the challenge as part of a wider rebranding exercise for Martin Lavell’s parent company, Smiths News PLC. To ensure affinity with the parent brand, Bella’s design studio produced a logo which links closely with that of Smiths News, both in terms of colour palette and font. The look and feel of the new brand identity was then rolled out across a new website and associated collateral.
The website itself is crisp and modern in appearance with a user-friendly navigation and image-led aesthetic. Bella worked with both a professional copywriter and photographer to ensure that the copy and imagery for the site matched the quality of the design and functionality. The website includes the integration of a third party portal, My Martin Lavell, which allows customers seamless access to their account details. The website is responsive to all devices and browsers providing a high-quality user experience on a full range of screen sizes.
