Turning Vision into Reality
Bella Design & Marketing created evocative illustrations to bring to life Find A Better Way’s latest project vision
Find A Better Way, founded by footballing legend, Sir Bobby Charlton, supports communities affected by the traumas of conflict, including the debilitating effects of landmines and other remnants of war. The charity partners with other NGO’s overseas to establish centres of rehabilitation, vocational training and therapy.
The charity’s latest project is now underway in the Cambodian province of Pursat, where a half-finished building will be completed, adapted and transformed into the first Sir Bobby Charlton Centre providing Vocational Training for Disabled People.
In order to bring the concept to life for the charity’s board of trustees and stakeholders, Bella Design & Marketing were commissioned to create a series of bespoke illustrations to depict the proposed transformation of the building from derelict site to fully-operational community centre. Researching the architecture, terrain and vegetation of the local area, our talented illustrator was able to visualise how the building will appear once it has been refurbished. The illustrations include an external view of the centre, featuring a planned sensory garden for use by disabled people and their families. In addition, an internal cross-section of the property presents a cafe, class rooms and accommodation – all of which will be created to help support and nurture the many victims of atrocities in this region of Southeast Asia.
Moving forward, these evocative images will be used to kick-start the important task of raising funds for the project, via both the general public and corporate donors. They will also serve as an historic legacy of the new direction of this invaluable and thought-provoking organisation.
