Introduction
Bella Design & Marketing Limited (“the Company”) is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our business and supply chains. This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines the steps we have taken, and continue to take, to ensure that slavery and human trafficking do not occur within our organisation or our supply chains.
Our Business
Bella Design & Marketing Limited is a UK-based creative agency specialising in design, marketing, and digital communications. We operate from our head office in Knutsford, Cheshire, and deliver services to clients across the UK and internationally.
Our operations are primarily office-based, and our workforce consists of directly employed staff and a small network of trusted freelance professionals. As such, we consider the risk of modern slavery within our direct operations to be low.
Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain includes:
Freelance designers, photographers, videographers, and consultants
Technology, software, and digital service providers
Office suppliers and professional service providers (such as IT support and finance)
While we view our overall risk as low, we recognise that some elements of our supply chain may be further removed from our direct control, particularly international suppliers of digital tools or outsourced services.
Our Policies and Practices
We maintain a Modern Slavery Policy that sets out our commitment to ethical conduct and compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. Our internal policies and procedures are designed to:
Prevent, identify, and mitigate the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking
Ensure fair treatment, equality, and transparency in all employment and supplier relationships
Encourage reporting of any concerns through confidential channels
Due Diligence and Risk Assessment
We assess potential risks within our operations and supply chain and take steps to mitigate them by:
Conducting due diligence on new suppliers
Including modern slavery clauses in relevant contracts
Requiring suppliers and contractors to uphold ethical labour standards
Reviewing supplier relationships regularly
Training and Awareness
We raise awareness of modern slavery among our employees and managers, ensuring they understand how to identify potential issues and the process for reporting concerns.
Continuous Improvement
Bella Design & Marketing Limited remains committed to ongoing vigilance and continuous improvement in preventing modern slavery. We will continue to review our policies, training, and supplier management practices annually to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.
